We are excited to announce that Astrid Høegh Jensen takes up the role of Managing Director of PEM today.
Astrid has been with PEM since 2018, apart from a one-year leave to work for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a short-term contract. She combines an in-depth understanding of the organisation with 10 years of experience in international development cooperation, focusing on water, climate and sustainable development, and a strong commitment to create lasting impact. Her work includes evaluations, reviews and programme formulation for clients such as the EU, EIB, Danida, and UNEP.
“I am delighted that, after more than 30 years, PEM continues to contribute to positive change around the world. I look forward to taking on this new role, while continuing my work as a consultant staying closely connected to the challenges our clients face in a changing world”.
Astrid succeeds Søren-Erik Svendsen, who will continue at PEM as Chief Financial Officer. A big thank you to Søren-Erik for his 18 years of leading PEM with strong drive and dedication, and congratulations on the new role!
