Astrid Høegh Jensen

Senior Project Manager

Astrid Høegh Jensen is a consultant with experience in international development, evaluation, water and environmental management, and climate change adaptation. She holds a Master’s degree in Geography and Geoinformatics from the University of Copenhagen, specialising in Environment, Society and Development.

Astrid has worked on evaluations, formulations, reviews and assignments in a range of international contexts. For PEMconsult, she has contributed to assignments within water, climate, environment and development, including the evaluation of European Investment Bank support to the water sector outside the EU, the Mid-term review of UNEP-DHI Centre on Water and Environment and Evaluation of the Danish Support for Climate Change Adaptation in Developing Countries.

More recently, Astrid has worked with sustainable urban water development and international partnerships. As Sector Counsellor at the Embassy of Denmark in India, she has worked to strengthen the Indo-Danish water partnership between the City of Aarhus and the State of Rajasthan, with a focus on integrated urban water management, including water supply, wastewater reuse and blue-green solutions.

Astrid combines analytical and evaluation expertise with practical experience from international assignments and stakeholder engagement across government institutions, development partners and local organisations.
