Monitoring and evaluation tasks for UNDP

PEM has been assigned to conduct a variety of monitoring and evaluation tasks for UNDP in the coming months. This includes project evaluation, a programme learning assessment and the creation of a results-based framework for future monitoring and evaluation of a multi-donor climate mitigation programme. Under the Secretary General’s “One UN” strategy, UNDP is one of the three leading organisations on the implementation of the Paris Agreement. UNDP’s work on climate change already spans more than 140 countries and USD $2.8 billion in investments in climate change adaptation and mitigation measures since 2008. Results-based monitoring and reporting frameworks will help UNDP to further create a critical foundation for robust knowledge capture, systematic reporting, and better delivery of services.
