PEM is evaluating Water for Eastern Equatoria Project (W4EE), which aims to contribute to security and stability in South Sudan through mitigation of conflict, economic growth and sustainable development. The project is a five-year initiative (2013-2018) between the Governments of the Netherlands and that of the Republic of South Sudan. With integrated and conflict-sensitive management of water resources, the project aims to contribute to sustained and increased water productivity, value addition in agriculture, horticulture and livestock as to improved sanitation and hygiene, safely managed and climate-resilient water drinking services. Hence, the evaluation team will assess whether and to what extent these have been achieved, document lessons learnt and provide recommendations for possible future activities.
