Assessment of Water and Sanitation Projects in Burkina Faso and preparation of Concept Note

PEM has been contracted by the Danida Sustainable Infrastructure Finance (DSIF) to support the Burkina Faso Ministry of Water and Sanitation in assessing and identifying Water Supply and Sanitation projects that may be eligible for funding by DSIF. The purpose of the assignment is to identify projects with the potential to reduce poverty and promote peace and stability in Burkina Faso. PEM will provide the Team Leader and a Water and Sanitation Specialist to work on an Identification and Assessment report for the project(s) identified. The assessment will be carried out based on a study of the presented documentation and a field visit to Burkina Faso, to discuss the projects proposed with the partners involved at the national level, and to visit the projects proposed which have a high priority for the Government of Burkina Faso. On the foundation of the assessment report, PEM will elaborate a Concept note for eligible projects to be presented to the Danida Programme Committee.
