Marion is a social anthropologist (MA) with more than 30 years of professional experience in international development cooperation. She has lived and worked in Southern Africa for over 20 years and is currently based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Throughout her career, Marion has worked as a team leader and member, researcher, trainer, and facilitator. Her areas of expertise include access to justice, entrepreneurship, social cohesion, gender equality, human rights–based approaches, and the socio-economic empowerment of women. She also brings extensive experience in health-related themes, particularly (adolescent) SRHR, HIV/AIDS, and primary health care.
We have previously worked with her on several assignments, including: :
- Final Evaluation of the EU-funded Project for the Revitalisation of TVET in Angola (RETFOP), where she served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert.
- Midterm Review of the CISU Programme (2022–2025) on HIV prevention, resilience, and well-being among key populations in Malawi and Uganda, where she joined the PEM team as a Senior Evaluator and specialist in human rights and women’s rights.
Marion’s country experience spans Eastern, Central, Southern, and Western Africa, as well as South America.
