PEM is facilitating a high-level conference in Berlin in Germany at the 26-29 March. At the conference, The Natural Resources Stewardship Programme (NaTuReS) is launched, which is the successor programme of the International Water Stewardship Programme (IWaSP). The aim of the conference is to capture lessons learned of the IWaSP programme and translate them into programmatic recommendations for NatuReS. Later this year we will support the design and facilitation of a regional workshop on the African continent aiming at refining current and future services and products offered by the programme. NaTuReS is implemented by GIZ and seek to support local partnerships and establish dialogue between public and private partners together with civil society to manage their shared natural resource risks. The NaTuReS project countries are currently: Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia and South Africa.
