Independent evaluation on the climate approach of SECO’s economic cooperation division since 2017

PEMconsult has successfully completed an in-depth evaluation of the Swiss’ State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) climate approach within the realm of economic cooperation. The assessment aimed to document the results achieved through SECO’s climate efforts and provide useful guidance for improving SECO’s approach to climate issues. This evaluation takes a broad view, covering various aspects from the strategic and organizational levels down to individual countries, themes, and specific projects. We further considered SECO’s overarching strategy of integrating climate considerations into economic growth, quantifiable progress, discernible impacts, and the transformative changes attained. Additionally, we’re exploring ways to strengthen our client’s climate initiatives.
