Mr. Søren-Erik M. Svendsen is a Comptroller with over 27 years of professional expertise in financial management. Since 2006, he has worked as an accountant on both short- and long-term assignments and framework contracts funded by clients such as Danida, Sida, KFW, DFID, World Bank, GIZ and the EU. In total, he has been responsible for the financial management of approximately 1000 projects.
As part of his professional career, Mr. Svendsen has obtained substantial experience in document management through his capacity as Managing Director of PEMconsult where he is responsible for the company’s financial management, as well as head of administration. He will be responsible for the audit management role of appointing the auditors and ensuring that a timely external audit of the project is carried out in accordance with Danida, and other donor requirements.
