Haroon Ur Rashid

Haroon has a Master degree in Architecture with a focus on Urban Design and Urban Planning.

He has over 35 years of experience in the field of development. He worked with the Water and Sanitation Programme (WSP) of the World Bank for about 14 years, with bilateral and multilateral donors such as Danida, the Dutch, SDC, JICA, UNDP and ADB. He is currently a Professor of Architecture at the North South University, Bangladesh and provides consultancy inputs with PEMconsult as its core consultant. Haroon has worked as an Urban Designer, Physical Planner, Sector Specialist, Community and Institutional Development Expert, and in Project Appraisal, Review, and Evaluation.

Haroon also has international work experience especially in the South, South East Asian countries.
