Eric has more than 25 years of experience and has been Team Leader on more than 50 assignments within environment, climate change and green economy, private sector, agriculture, energy and water – at all stages of the intervention cycle. He has developed strong evaluation experience as Team leader on large complex EU evaluations of: i) Blending operations (2001-2013) ii) Global support to environment and climate change (2007-2013); iii) Regional integration in East and Southern Africa and Indian Ocean with focus on regional economic integration, peace and security and natural resources management.
Eric has worked on the governance and institutional set up of a range of programmatic and innovative financing mechanisms including setting up of environmental funds, loan guarantee, risk capital and concessional finance instruments. He has undertaken numerous institutional and governance related assessments within the agricultural, infrastructure and environmental sectors. He is also a highly skilled and sought-after facilitator.
