Astrid holds a Master of Science in Geography and Geoinformatics from University of Copenhagen with a specialisation in environment, society, and development. She has more than 7 years’ experience in international development cooperation focusing on sustainable development, water resource management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, environmental sustainability, and livelihoods.
She has carried out formulations, evaluations, reviews, and assessments for clients such as EU, EIB, Danida, GIZ, and Sida including several multi-country and complex evaluations and formulations. She is well versed in applying the OECD-DAC evaluation criteria, and she is excelling in design and use of qualitative and quantitative methods and evaluation methodologies including gathering, processing, and analysing data to measure program impact, and ensure accountability.
Astrid is also responsible for office administration and project management including tendering and framework contracts.
Astrid has experiences from Kenya, Jordan, Myanmar, Israel, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Tanzania, and Egypt.
