PEM has completed an evaluation of the Think Nature project in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), funded by the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) and implemented by the BiH Centre for Civil Society Promotion. The project aims at increasing the capacity and thus the influence of civil society in the environmental sector and, by doing so, to contribute to better protection of the environment and enhanced resilience to environmental impact and climate change in BiH. The evaluation looked at the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact of the project and its focus areas. The evaluation team conducted extensive, eight-day fieldwork in BiH, covering 12 municipalities across the country and consulting more than 100 stakeholders, including beneficiaries, involved in the project implementation. We are happy to have provided a set of recommendations that shall
inform a future project phase.
