Cleaner production in Bangladesh

As part of the ongoing Mid-Term Review of the Danida Country Program in Bangladesh, the review team has visited the project Partnership for Cleaner Textile. The project promotes cleaner production in the textile industry including energy efficiency, reuse of chemicals and water and reduced GHG emissions. Cleaner production reduces operating costs, improves profitability and worker safety, and reduces the environmental impact of the businesses.
